These Terms of Service govern use of LughaOne, operated by LughaOne LLC ("we", "our" or "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable laws.
1. Eligibility and accounts
LughaOne's initial service is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. You must supply accurate information, keep your login credentials secure and promptly report unauthorized account activity. You may not share access in ways that circumvent plan limits.
2. What we provide
We provide introductory language lessons, exercises, vocabulary review, assessments and AI-assisted learning features. Availability differs by language, track and device. Planned languages and future tools are not included until expressly identified as available. LughaOne is an educational aid, not a provider of accredited language qualifications, certified translations or professional advice.
3. AI features and accuracy
AI-generated explanations, translations and pronunciation feedback may be imperfect. Verify important information with qualified sources. You are responsible for what you submit and must not submit material you lack rights to use or information that violates others' rights.
4. Free trial and paid subscriptions
New accounts receive a three-day, no-payment-card trial for available trial features. The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. Paid plans require an affirmative purchase through Stripe. Standard is advertised at $24.99 USD per month and AI Premium at $39.99 USD per month, before any applicable taxes. Plans renew automatically at the recurring price and interval shown at checkout unless canceled. Feature allowances and service availability are explained on the pricing page and may evolve with notice where required.

5. Cancellation, account deletion and retained information
You can manage subscriptions through the account billing portal. Canceling recurring billing normally preserves applicable paid access until the end of the current billing period. Permanent account deletion is different: it removes application learning records and may immediately cancel subscriptions and terminate paid access. Certain payment, fraud-prevention and legally required records may be retained.
6. Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, compromise accounts, bypass usage limits, submit unlawful or abusive content, scrape or resell course materials, or reverse engineer service components where prohibited by law. We may restrict misuse, investigate security incidents or suspend access as necessary, subject to applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, LughaOne's platform design, course materials, software and branding are owned by LughaOne LLC or its licensors. You receive a limited personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access content under your active account and plan.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted access, support for every device or error-free content. Features may be added, modified or retired. Material changes affecting paid subscriptions will be communicated as required by law.
9. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees of specific educational outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer protections or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
